Being a big fan of the sport, I was overjoyed with the news of the Donald Trump trying to popularize this sport. I feel besides cricket and football, MMA is one sport that has touched the hearts of the audience.
MMA is clearly different from boxing or wrestling. I appreciate the rigorous training that the MMA fighters go through. The stamina that they posses are truly commendable. The techniques of fighting are also new and the merging of boxing with martial arts is very new. This sport has surpassed the popularity of street fighting and boxing. It has some hardcore action and gives an adrenalin rush to both the fighters and the viewers. The bouts of MMA are genuine and awe inspiring. The Mixed Martial Artists are fighters in the true sense of the term. Winners of UFC are also seen taking a part in MMA and this speaks about the popularity of the sport. MMA has witnessed some of the biggest names fighting it out for them. Nobody should be surprised if MMA becomes the national sport of a country after all this hoopla.
