Lesser number of tourists visits this place. I visited this place for experiencing the culture of the Thai people, which was important for my study. Large numbers of fishing boats are anchored in the beaches of Rawai. Swimming is not recommended in this beach. I hired a tuk tuk and went to the nearby beaches for swimming. Phuket gave me a completely different experience. I came to know much about the culture of south east asia.
