Many New Yorkers get a bit arrogant when doing business in New York especially for places to live. They think that just because they already have experience in the country for a certain period of time, they already mastered the different aspects of New York life. Although it may be true to some extent, my experience has proven that New York Real Estate is an entirely new playing field. I spent so much time doing it my own way that I did not realize just how easy it could have been if only I had been more open to different suggestions.

The one thing that I did not really consider at the beginning of my search was finding help. I knew that everything in New York had a price on it and a search for NY Apartments for rent would probably cost me a fortune. I was very wrong with this concept and found that I had to spend more just on transportation alone. Even when I travelled around New York City there were days that I didn’t have anything to show for. When I finally gave in to getting someone to help, they showed me a New York City that I had never even seen.

There were different kinds of apartments ranging from homely and traditional to the more modern and upbeat New York Apartments. They took me on a ride around town as we looked at the best possible apartments that I could possibly rent. I could not really believe how easy it was to find an apartment. What took me a couple of months alone took me just a couple of weeks with help.
